Our Mission

Mahad ul Qur’an wa Sunnah is a non-commercial, non-political educational institute for men dedicated to Classical Islamic Learning and Tasawwuf (Islamic spirituality).

This evening madrassa aims to educate students in the main disciplines of Islamic learning including Quran, Hadith, Islamic Jurisprudence, Arabic Language, Islamic History and Spirituality. To achieve this, our dedicated teachers work hard to impart an educational experience that is at once intellectually challenging and spiritually uplifting.

The course taught at Mahad ul Quran wa Sunnah draws upon the rich scholarly tradition based on the Quran and the Sunnah as understood by the Sahabah (Companions) and the Salaf Saliheen (Pious Predecessors), with a respect for all scholars of the Ahl al-Sunnah wal Jama’ah.

Mahad ul Quran wa Sunnah believes that Islamic Learning and Tasawwuf has an integral part in the life of every Muslim. The Mahad specifically seeks to realize the fact that students and working professionals can regularly and successfully participate in comprehensive Islamic education. Therefore, it offers a great opportunity for men to acquire knowledge of our Faith in the present day, together with the occupations of university and work.

Mahad-ul-Quran-wa-Sunnah is supervised by Mufti Saeed Ahmed (D.B.), Imaam of Alamgir Masjid (Google Maps) and Khalifa of Maulana Madni (R.A.)
